2.2 Why we use personal data
We use personal data to create and secure accounts; authenticate users; provide and maintain the Services; connect to user-selected third-party platforms; run user-authorised strategies; prevent duplicate or unauthorised actions; maintain execution/audit history; provide support; detect fraud/abuse/security incidents; diagnose errors; manage entitlements/trials/affiliate verification; process payments; comply with law; establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and send marketing communications only where legally permitted.
2.3 Legal bases
Depending on the jurisdiction and processing activity, legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
Where consent is the basis, it may be withdrawn for future processing without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
2.4 User-controlled trading automation
Trading automation can have significant financial consequences. TradingNext processes strategy and execution information to carry out automation specifically configured and activated by the user.
TradingNext does not use personal profiling to decide what investments a particular user should make, does not exercise discretionary control over user portfolios and does not use withdrawal permissions.
2.5 Recipients and service providers
Data may be shared only as necessary with categories such as hosting/cloud/database providers, security/logging/monitoring providers, email/support providers, payment processors, consent-management/analytics providers, brokers/exchanges selected by the user, professional advisers and authorities where disclosure is legally required.
A current internal subprocessor list must be maintained.
2.6 International transfers
Where data-protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, TradingNext will use an applicable lawful mechanism such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another recognised safeguard.
The final operator must document actual data locations and transfer mechanisms before launch.
2.7 Retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, dispute resolution, legal claims and legal obligations.
Principles include prompt deletion/revocation of credentials no longer required; limited security-log retention; longer retention of execution/audit records where reasonably necessary for disputes or legal claims; legal/tax retention for payment records; legal-hold overrides when necessary; and minimisation/pseudonymisation/aggregation where practical.
2.8 Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, withdraw consent, obtain portable data, opt out of certain sale/sharing or targeted-advertising uses, and complain to a competent data-protection authority.
Requests: privacy@tradingnext.net. Identity may be verified before a request is fulfilled.
2.9 Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary technologies may be used for security, sessions and core functionality. Non-essential analytics, preference or marketing technologies are controlled as described in the Cookie Policy and consent interface.
2.10 Security
TradingNext uses technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data and connected-account credentials, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, secret segregation, audit logging and security monitoring.

2.12 Data breach response
TradingNext maintains incident-response procedures and will make legally required notifications to affected users and authorities where applicable.
